I hope this message finds you in excellent health this spring season.
　 　I express my gratitude for all of the support and encouragement Japan has received following the Great East Japan Earthquake last month.
　People in the affected regions are working hard towards recovery along with the combined efforts of the entire Japanese population.
　Kyushu is located over 1,000 kilometers from the disaster affected region. All of its transportation services, hotels, inns, stores, and tourist facilities have continued to operate as normal. Our lives here have carried on as usual.
　We hope that you will visit Kyushu with the knowledge that it is completely safe. We welcome you heartily.
　Your visit will provide much needed vitality and strength to the people of Japan.
