You can enjoy various city sightseeing tours in places such as the largest downtown area in Kyushu, the bay area along the Port of Hakata, and the Space World theme park. In addition to notable sites such as Mojiko Retro Town and Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, this area has many cultural sites such as the Kyushu National Museum.

This festival is held on May 3 and 4 during the Golden Week holidays. People parade through streets, some wearing costumes and others performing "Teodori (Hand Dance)."

This festival, a signature summer event, lasts four days. The festival's highlight is the great taiko (Japanese drum) performance, which is held on the third day at Kokura Castle.
